September's You Beauty Discovery box arrived a bit late for me due to a delivery fail. I'm not sure what happened to the little parcel (maybe one of the other people in our building took a fancy to it? Maybe it was put in a 'safe place' and got taken out with the rubbish? Who knows!) but the lovely people at YBD were kind enough to send me another box, no questions asked, when I emailed to say it hadn't arrived weeks after being dispatched. But this late arrival meant that I got both September and October's boxes around the same time. So So here is what I picked for the last two months' You Beauty Discovery boxes.

It's suited to my combination skin (I get both oily and dry skin issues) so will hopefully be helpful to those who have the same skin type as me, or useful to anyone who is looking for more cruelty free skincare brands or products to try. Ok guys, I did it, I finally plucked up the courage to start a youtube channel! I wanted to do a favourites video, but I personally prefer to watch these kinds of 'posts' rather than read them, so I thought I would make a video instead. To start with my channel is just going to have monthly favourites, unboxings, and similar things until I get a little more used to the camera.

CRUELTY FREE MAKE-UP REMOVER | THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE MAGICAL

For me, removing my make-up is the most important part of my skincare routine, and I find that the make-up remover you use can make or break your whole skincare routine. Since going cruelty free I've tried a few different products, and have found what works, as well as what really doesn't. 

CURRENTLY LOVING | THE BODY SHOP INSTABLUR

This is one of those products that you don't realise how good it is, until you go without it! When I first got The Body Shop Instablur, I didn't really think it did much. So I stashed it away until I re-found it a few weeks ago, and thought I'd give it another try. I'm so glad I did, as this little beauty is an absolute make-up saviour in the summer heat!
